Decoding ISO and PAS Standards on the Net Zero Journey

Venue: Online

Tue 3rd December, 2024, 10am to 11am

Description

This webinar is designed for those who are confused about how various carbon ISO and PAS standards apply to the net zero journey. We will review the available ISO and PAS standards, highlight their differences, and explain how they apply to different markets and industries.

This webinar is delivered by Julie Adams a Carbon, Cost and Procurement Consultant with Auditel, a leading Cost, Procurement and Carbon specialist organisation.

Overview

Key topics include:

– Overview of Standards: A high-level review of standards across all sectors, including complex areas such as export manufacturing, construction, and supply chain industries.

– ISO 14064 vs. ISO 14068: Understanding the difference between net zero and carbon neutrality, and the new changes to PAS 2060.

– PAS 2080: Discussing its impact on the infrastructure and construction supply chain.

– CBAM: Introducing the new Cross Border Carbon Accounting Mechanism affecting manufacturers exporting certain goods to the EU, and its potential business impact.

Additionally, in our discussions on PAS 2080 and CBAM, we will cover whole life carbon and embedded carbon, which are crucial for understanding this complex sector of carbon accounting.
