Bold vision for future of local council structures submitted to Government

A bold vision which puts business, people and places at the heart of future council structures in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland has been submitted to Government. (Friday 21 March 2025). The seven district and borough councils of Leicestershire and Rutland County Council have worked closely together to create the shared vision which is built on a foundation of collaboration, evidence and engagement.

Business community gathers to connect and celebrate Charnwood

The Charnwood business community gathered to connect and celebrate the borough at a free event in Loughborough. The Celebrating & Connecting Business inCharnwood event took place at Charnwood Campus Science, Innovation and Technology Park on Wednesday, 5 March. Around 100 guests attended as local businesses, entrepreneurs and industry leaders came together to share insights, network and explore growth opportunities.
